We first opened our family run artisan bakery based in the garage at the back of our garden in Laurieston in 2012. After a fire in March 2015 we have decided to relocate to Castle Douglas, our local town and with support of wide community we opened our new bakery and shop in March 2016. Our passion for good quality food led us to a journey of producing fresh bread and pastries with outstanding flavour and texture and all natural ingredients, which we wanted to add to the variety of locally produced food. We specialize in hand crafted slow- fermented traditional bread, like sourdough and use highest quality flour and ingredients we can. All our flour is organic.  Baking and promoting real bread is our lifestyle, about which we are very passionate.
