Real Bread in the Heart of Galloway

We bake artisan breads using long fermentation, including sourdough. Alongside our daily loaves, we also offer a range of sweet and savoury treats.

Working with suppliers

At our bakery, we believe that good baking starts with quality ingredients, which is why we choose our ingredients with care. We work with trusted producers who share our commitment to quality, sustainability.

Our flour is sourced from Shipton Mill and Mungos Wells, mills that favour heritage grains and traditional milling methods, preserving both flavour and nutritional integrity. Wherever possible, we choose grains grown using regenerative or low-impact farming practices, supporting soil health and biodiversity.

Our dairy and eggs, come from local farms such as Torr Organic Dairy, suppliers who prioritise animal welfare and transparency. Seasonal ingredients and meat products are selected from regional producers whenever possible, supporting local economy while reducing food miles.

Our lightly roasted coffee beans are sourced from Dear Green coffee roasters, who share our values around quality, transparency, and responsible sourcing.

Our bread and bakes reflect not just skill and care in our kitchen, but the integrity of everyone who contributed along the way.
